Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Celebrates National Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s pulmonary rehabilitation program is joining the many other programs across the nation to celebrate National Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week, March 12 to 18.  The pulmonary rehabilitation program at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center provides the support and physical therapy you need to meet the day-to-day challenges of living with a chronic lung disorder. Our goal is to help you enjoy the highest quality of life, and we reach that goal by providing you with a managed program of professionally supervised activities. National Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week was initiated by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation to focus national attention on pulmonary rehabilitation’s contribution to enhancing the lives of individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.  For more information about pulmonary rehabilitation at Claxton-Hepburn, visit us at  Shown in the photo is Claxton-Hepburn’s Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Gerry Hourihan, PT.
