Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Winter Cancer Treatment Center Offers American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better Program

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Richard E. Winter Cancer Treatment Center and the American Cancer Society are pleased to offer the Look Good…Feel Better (LGFB) program.  The LGFB is a community-based, free, national service that teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help enhance their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Through LGFB’s hands-on practical experience, women are given beauty tips about makeup, hair, wigs, turbans and scarves.  Each participant receives a complimentary box of beauty products containing items used in the program.

Cosmetologist, Clarinda Widrick, from Watertown, volunteers her time to provide this wonderful service to patients.  The next sessions will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, and Monday, September 25, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center.  For more information about the program, or to register, contact Jessica Morley at (315) 713-6213.
