Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Recognizes Radiation Technologists

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center joins in recognition of National Radiologic Technology Week, November 5-11, 2017, to acknowledge our radiologic technologist staff for a job well done.  This week-long celebration highlights the important role medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals play in patient care and healthcare safety.  Director of Radiology at Claxton-Hepburn, Dan Steele, stated, “It’s a profession that calls upon the technologists to be ready at any given moment to handle everything from a simple X-ray to invasive procedures, and performing their tasks in the operating room, emergency room, cancer center, or the patient’s bedside.”  Shown in the first photo seated are radiologic technologists Julie Bush, Kristin Worden, Kristen Kormanyos, Ashley Mills and Rachel Hooley.  Standing in back are Virginia McCarthy, Steele, Tim Harvey and Wendy Denner.  In the second photo are radiation therapists Shauna Amo, Jan Slate, and Michael Henrie.  Your tomorrow is worth defending.
