Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center employees, family, and friends joined together to participate in the 16th Annual Gouverneur Breast Cancer Walk on May 20. Claxton-Hepburn has been a corporate sponsor of the event for several years, and had nearly 75 walkers represent the Medical Center in this year’s event. Over 2,000 people from St. Lawrence, Lewis and Jefferson Counties came together to support local women in their fight against breast cancer. This year’s Walk raised over $117,000. The money raised has helped numerous breast cancer patients at Claxton-Hepburn’s Breast Health Center and Richard E. Winter Cancer Center. Shown in the photo are some of the Claxton-Hepburn employees with their families and friends that participated in this year’s Walk.
