Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Goes Blue for Colorectal Cancer Awareness

To raise awareness of the importance of screening for colorectal cancer, Claxton-Hepburn employees and members of the St. Lawrence County Cancer Services Program and the American Cancer Society joined the National Dress in Blue Day on March 3, 2017.  Employees and visitors were asked to show their support to increase colorectal cancer rates to 80% by 2018 by signing the pledge board shown in the photo.  In the photo front row, Claxton-Hepburn employees Heather Kennedy, Amy Marcellus, Alyson Smith, Tina Denny, Rondalyn Jacobs, and Jodie Regan from the St. Lawrence Cancer Services Program, Jason Warchal from the American Cancer Society and Ramona Kennedy from Claxton-Hepburn.  In the back row are Claxton-Hepburn employees Michelle Bronner, Virginia McCarthy, Judy Bailey, Melanie Kring, Richard DeRouchie, Vicki Gould, Doug Hadlock, Joni Harradine, Don Boshart from the American Cancer Society and Ramona Kennedy from Claxton-Hepburn.
