Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is pleased to welcome Daniel Steele, R.T. (R) (ARRT) as our new director of radiology. Mr. Steele has twenty-five years of experience in the radiology field. He joins Claxton-Hepburn from the Wyoming Medical Center, where he served as the director of radiology. Prior to that, he worked at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, and Carthage Area Hospital. Mr. Steele served in the United States Army as a radiologic technologist at the United States Army’s Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas, the Army’s largest and busiest medical center. He received his formal training at Baylor University in Texas. He is licensed in New York and credentialed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
When asked what Mr. Steele hopes to bring to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, he stated, “Throughout my career, I have strived to always put patient safety first.” He continued, “Safety, quality and great patient outcomes go hand in hand.”
Outside of work, Mr. Steele is hoping to get back to fishing the many waters of the North Country as he did when he was a child, this time with a camera. For more information about Mr. Steele or our radiology services, visit us at www.claxtonhepburn.org. Your tomorrow is worth defending.
