Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Supports Colors of Cancer Walk

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, members of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and its Richard E. Winter Cancer Center participated in the St. Lawrence County Colors of Cancer Walk at the Dobisky Center and Maple City Trail in Ogdensburg.  The Cancer Center staff hosted the Education tent at the event, and many Claxton-Hepburn employees and their families participated in the Walk.  The Medical Center and Cancer Center have been supporting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Ogdensburg since 2007.  Starting 2018, the event became known as the Colors of Cancer Walk, still benefiting the American Cancer Society. This year’s walk raised $24,335.30.  Shown in the photo representing Claxton-Hepburn are Diane Bell, Allyson Smith, Ashley Peggs, Kay Zimmer, Ramona Kennedy, Azin Paige, Amber Harper, Erica Duprey, Tawny Gratto holding her son Wyatt Gratto, Melody Rishe and Ron Paige.  Claxton-Hepburn is keeping the North Country strong by defending your tomorrows.
